Getting Started

This guide walks you through the initial steps of setting up a new drainage project, ensuring you have geographical context before you begin laying pipes.

1. Creating a New Project

When you first log in, you will be directed to the Job Manager dashboard.

  1. Click the "New Project" button.
  2. Enter a descriptive title for your project (e.g., "Phase 1 - Residential Development").
  3. The platform will initialise a blank canvas.

2. Setting the Site Location

Before importing any data or running hydrological calculations, you have the option to locate your site. This coordinate assists the platform's rainfall generation tools (FEH/FSR) including greenfield rate estimation, and background map fetches.

  1. Open the Project Settings (click the gear icon in the top navigation bar).
  2. Use the interactive map to search for your site address or manually drop the pin on your exact development location.
  3. The Latitude and Longitude coordinates will automatically update.
  4. Click Save.

You are now ready to begin importing your site geometry or drawing your network manually.
